The journey from PE to PLETT is one of the most diverse mountain bike rides in Southern Africa.
Traversing the properties of 57 landowners – including trail parks, MTO Forestry and SAN Parks – the 265-kilometre-long M&G Investments PE PLETT is a
spectacular race from Crossways Village to Natures Valley. The 4-stage event boasts card- and cash-free race villages, 3 nights’ accommodation, and the options to upgrade your experience.

Riders can enter mixed teams in terms of E-Bikes and traditional bikes, making up the same team.
All rider packages include
3 nights luxury tent accommodation (Wed/Thurs/Fri) – this includes beds, bedding, side table & chairs – Teams share a tent, Solo's get their own tent
All meals (Lunch & Supper on Wednesday; Breakfast, Lunch & Supper on Thursday & Friday; Breakfast & Lunch on Saturday)

What's new in 2023?
The 2023 edition will see some exciting changes and new additions to this wonderful 4-day event.
With no pressure of a time bar on the M&G Investments PE PLETT even a social mountain biker can complete South Africa’s last remaining linear stage race.
To enhance the experience, the team, from Red Cherry Events have made the following significant changes for the 2023 event:
– The biggest news is that we have gone back to our reduced field size of just 250 riders. This is in an effort to create a more spacious race village for all riders.
You have come all this way, the last thing we want is for you to be waiting in a queue for 45 minutes.
– Every entry includes a magnificent 3mx3m dome tent, with beds, fresh linen, a bedside table & chairs.
– A combination of the best tracks from the Tough and Lite routes into one unbelievable route.
